The last time Rich Vos came to AC, the comedy veteran almost blew the roof off the Celebrity Theater, and now he's back for another unforgettable, one-night-only special event. He has been seen on HBO, HBO Max, Netflix, Showtime and Starz. Rich also produced and starred in the documentary “Women Aren’t Funny”, appeared in Judd Apatows “King of Staten Island.  He’s a two time writer for the Academy Awards.  Rich hosted Woodstock 99, The Virus Tour, and the Washington Monument Drug Awareness Concert. Vos can be heard on numerous top podcasts such as WTF with Marc Maron, The Church of What’s Happening Now with Joe Diaz, and The Joe Rogan Experience. Along with wife Bonnie McFarlane, Rich has a hit podcast “My Wife Hates Me” that looks inside the marriage and day to day life of the two comics. Rich has also been clean and sober for 35 years, leading to performances at countless 12 Step Conventions. He has 6 albums in rotation on Sirius XM. In February 2014, Cap began releasing Caplets, a brand-new set of comedy every 30 days that were distributed on his website and YouTube.com/JohnCaparuloComedy.After working all over the globe for 20+ years, Cap settled down in Las Vegas and performed almost 500 shows during a 2-year residency at Harrah’s. “John Caparulo’s Mad Cap Comedy” ran 5 nights a week from May 10th, 2018, until its unexpected demise on March 15th, 2020, as a result of the COVID-19 shutdowns.Since Covid made live performances impossible for such an extended period, Cap adapted to the restrictions with “Un-Capped Comedy,” a monthly livestream show on which the live audience picks the topics for the comedian to discuss onstage. And now that live venues appear to be opening back up, Cap is taking Un-Capped Comedy on the road and letting audiences all across the United States choose the direction of every performance.

  • Gilbert Gottfried at The Celebrity Theater
  • At the young age of 15, Gilbert Gottfried began doing stand-up at open mike nights in New York City, after a few short years, became known around town as “the comedian’s comedian.” After spending several years mastering the art of stand-up comedy, producers of the legendary NBC late-night comedy show Saturday Night Live became aware of Gottfried and, in 1980, hired him as a cast member. It wasn’t until a few years later when his true notoriety would begin when MTV hired him for a series of improvised and hilarious promos for the newly formed channel. This led to several television appearances on “The Cosby Show” and “Late Night with David Letterman.” Gottfried’s work in television soon led to roles in film. Most notable was his improvised scene as business manager Sidney Bernstein in the hit sequel “Beverly Hills Cop II,” for which the New York Daily News said, “Gilbert Gottfried steals the picture with a single scene.” Aside from his glowing reputation in comedy clubs, Gottfried began to gain a reputation as the king of quirky roles in both movies and television. He appeared in such movies as “Problem Child,” “Problem Child II,” “Look Who’s Talking II” and “The Adventures of Ford Fairlane.” He was also the host of the very popular late-night movie series “USA Up All Night.” After his stellar performance as the wise-cracking parrot, IAGO, in the Disney classic “Aladdin,” Gottfried became one of the most recognizable voiceover talents, lending his voice to several commercials, cartoons, and movies, including the frustrated duck in the AFLAC Insurance commercials. Gottfried also is the voice of DIGIT in the long-running PBS Series “Cyberchase.” His signature voice can also be heard on the Comedy Central series, “The Annoying Orange, the voice of the horse on “Family Guy,” Mr. Mxyzptlk in the new “Lego Batman 3 – Beyond Gotham” video game, and Abraham Lincoln in A Million Ways to Die in the West. Gottfried has made numerous memorable appearances on Comedy Central Roasts and the Comedy Central series, “The Burn with Jeff Ross.” Gottfried’s “Fifty Shades of Grey” reading (College Humor) received over 5 million views on YouTube. Gilbert has been a guest on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno,” “The Late Show with Seth Meyers”, “@Midnight with Chris Hardwick” and numerous appearances on “The Howard Stern Show.”

  • The Atlantic City Comedy is THE #1 place for comedy in AC and this weekend we feature Bret Ernst.Bret Ernst can currently be seen starring in the hit series Cobra Kai, and is regarded as one of the best stand-ups in the business by his peers. He was recently listed as TOP 5 comedians working today by www.standupcomedyreview.com and “#16 of the 101 Funniest Comedians Working Today" by heckler.com and TBS. He first gained national notoriety as one of the stars of the movie“Vince Vaughn’s Wild West Comedy Show,” and his “Comedy Central Presents” was voted #5 on the networks “Stand-Up Showdown” the same year it aired. More recently, his 2nd performance on Comedy Central’s “This Is Not Happening,” premiered March 2,2018. in 2014, his self-released comedy album “American Comic” debuted on the iTunes Top 10, and his hour Special “Principal’s Office” can now be seen at www.bretcomedy.com. Deciding to control the distribution and content, Bret released his special for free to the public in JULY 2018 and currently has over 450,000 views and counting.
