Sarah Adelman

Sarah Adelman is a NYC born and raised comedian and screenwriter. She was an Ars Nova Theater comedy resident for their 2023-2024 season, and her one woman show "EGG" was called a "a charming coming-of-age stand-up show" by New York Times comedy critic Jason Zinoman and was selected for the NY Comedy Festival. Sarah was the creator, writer, and star of "BUSTED!", a proof-of-concept short film/TV series that has screened at Oscar-qualifying festivals HollyShorts and Santa Fe International Film Festival, and won both the Best Writer Jury Award and the Audience Award at SeriesFest 2025. The jury called her writing “consistently funny with sharp raunchy humor that surprises and engages.” Sarah has opened for Janeane Garofalo and Judy Gold, and she can be seen on Season 2 of HBO's Game Theory, The Today Show, NBC Digital, and more.
