While pursuing his craft in New York, Simmons swiftly became a regular at every main club in Manhattan, including the legendary Comedy Cellar, NY Comedy Club, and the Stand NYC. In Austin, Simmons can be seen performing at The Comedy Mothership, The Vulcan, and The Sunset Strip to name a few. Additionally, Simmons co-created and stars in Austin’s first improv-based comedy show ACTING-OFF. Despite his bodybuilder physique, Simmons’ humour is grounded in self-deprecating bits that break the stereotype of the typical “gym-bro”. Proudly from the Bronx, a culturally rich and diverse area, he provides a unique perspective that allows him to connect with audiences of all backgrounds and socioeconomic classes throughout the nation.
